For ENGIE's biomass plant in Compiègne, SERA delivered a Class B wood storage and reclaiming solution for a 20 MW installation.
The fuel is stored in a 2,000 m³ circular silo equipped with planetary screw reclaiming. The solution ensures the reclaiming of the stored fuel and its steady supply to the boiler.
This project is a SERA reference in biomass boiler plants fired with Class B wood and in energy installations serving district heating networks.
