About
SERA has developed a comprehensive product line capable of meeting the needs of both small boiler rooms and cogeneration facilities, where the number of daily deliveries is high

External supply for biomass boilers requires that the fuel be delivered by truck to the biomass boiler feed system.

SERA also offers a variety of safety, dust removal, and cleaning systems to ensure that operators’ work complies with health and safety standards.

The fine particles collected by the dust removal system are compacted so they can be returned to the boiler via the original circuit. Improved material yield without having to manage the dust collected in ATEX zones.

Our unloading solutions

The Benefits

Reliability – Low operating costs – Operator safety

Unloading stations

The unloading system best suited for heterogeneous biomass. This is the solution chosen by most of our customers seeking reliability, low operating costs, and operator safety.
Features:
  • Buffer storage capacity of 50 to 200 m³
  • Flow rate from 0 to 800 m³/h
  • Accepts all types of biomass
  • Flow control through natural slope smoothing and a ripper roller
  • Safety and Cleanliness in Unloading Operations

Screw-type discharge hopper

Features:
  • 2 to 6 augers
  • Flow rate from 0 to 360 m³/h
  • Screws with diameters ranging from 450 to 800 mm
  • Requires appropriate protective equipment to ensure operator safety

Truck Tippers - Truck Dumpers

Truck tippers enable the unloading of trucks not equipped with a moving floor (FMA).
The cylinders are custom-made and designed to accommodate all types of tractor-trailer combinations.

The Benefits

Cost-effective – Unloading onto a dedicated conveyor – Throughput adapted to conveyor capacity

Unloading onto a special conveyor

A cost-effective solution designed for small- and medium-capacity boiler rooms that use wood chips and shredded wood from end-of-life storage facilities.

This technology is not suitable for fuels that are too heterogeneous, such as compost screenings. The material is discharged directly onto a dedicated conveyor. The FMA adjusts the flow rate to match the conveyor’s capacity based on signals sent to the operator by the control system.
Features
  • Flow rate from 100 to 300 m³/h
  • Elevation up to 55°
  • Heavy Construction

Unloading onto hydraulic ramps

SERA hydraulic drive-over ladders are designed to allow trucks and material-handling equipment to drive over them.

Specific Additional Equipment

  • Manual or automatic sampling
  • Continuous Weighing
  • Moisture Absorption
  • Dust Removal
  • Densification of dust to reintroduce the compacted fines into the boilers
  • Mist spraying specific to the unloading station
  • Operator Touchscreen for Fuel Input Management
  • Self-cleaning platform
