For the Lyon Surville biomass plant, SERA delivered a Class A wood storage and handling solution for a 36 MWth installation.
The system comprises a 6,000 m³ A-Frame silo combined with tubed screw reclaiming. This technology ensures the reclaiming of the stored fuel and its steady conveying to the biomass boiler.
This project is a major SERA reference in large-capacity biomass plants serving urban district heating networks.
